IFS Welcomes Steven P. Ramsey – Operations Manager

IFS is pleased to announce that Steven P. Ramsey is joining IFS to lead the Operations Team in Tyler, Texas effective immediately. Steven is a skilled Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager with over 25 years of metal manufacturing experience. Steven is a results-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of process improvement. Steven has extensive P&L experience, capital budgeting and departmental budgeting. He is experienced in Lean Manufacturing, has a working knowledge of SYMIX, Citrix and SAP MRP/ERP systems as well as very strong MS Office product experience.

Steven joins IFS from Cameron International (Formerly Letourneau Technologies) in Houston, Texas.  Cameron is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries.

Steven and his wife Julie lived in Longview, Texas from November 2010 to December 2012.  Steven worked for Letourneau Technologies in Longview, managing the daily operations of Machine Shop Departments, Heat Treat, Motor Shop, Electronic Assembly, Main Assembly line, & Paint Department.  Letourneau Technologies’ Longview Facility manufactured the world’s largest Front End Loader on rubber tires, as well as various oil & gas components for the offshore products division in Houston.

Letourneau Technologies became a part of Cameron International through a series of business transactions and was consolidated in Houston, Texas, where Steven lived and worked from 2012 to 2017.
